registration
When making your account, please join with a username, which can be anything within reason. Once your character's application has been accepted, you can change your display name or a staff member will change it for you. Display names will appear as FIRST LAST. You can have a middle name or not. Some people don't have one or have multiple. You can have as many characters as you like.You will need an account for each character.
applying
Once you join SC that you begin your application with TWO WEEKS of registering and finish it within another TWO WEEKS. Fill out each section of the application and make no changes to the coding. Please, use a face claim for your character. Once your character has been accepted, you will need to post to face claim and job claim (if you want). If you don't know what kind of character you want to make, take a look at our site numbers, and see if you're interested in types we don't have many of! You can join with pets, but please limit them to two or three. You can edit your profile with your application, plotter, and tracker thread links once you are accepted.

You can have however many characters you want, but make ONE boy for every THREE girls. After your first four characters, we ask that you buy any additional characters in the Store. Keep them active, posting with each character at least three times a month. In the next couple of months, once the site get going, we will start having activity checks once a month or once every other month. Users earn money with each post and can use the money for various things on-site.
roleplaying
We don't have a word count requirement for posts, but try to match the post of the person you're rping with. It's frustrating to put out like three paragraphs and get back like 3 sentences. Yes, everyone has a bad day where muse just isn't there, but do try. You cannot control another person's character (aka god-modding). As we are a mature site, there is language and mature content. And it's acceptable, but be sure to put a warning in the title if there is more than usual.
Time here changes with every other month. January = Spring, March = Summer, May = Autumn, July = Winter, and so on. This may change. You earn money with every post; so the more you post, the more money you have. Money can be exchanged between players or the SC site itself, like if you buy a horse or buy a stables. Staff will help move money around.

Here on SC, everyone has a 150x150 avatar, a 220x350 hover image, and can have a signature of their choice. Please don't let your signature stretch the page. Your play by/face claim should be somewhat of a celebrity.
humans
As a human you can start with zero to three pets. One of them may be a horse, as you get one free horse upon being accepted. You may buy and sell as many horses as you like. If you do not have a horse, you may ride a lesson horse at a stable with the owner's permission. All ages are allowed. Humans under 18 may not own stallions, under 16 and you may not have a job. There are many jobs available in SC.

If users wish to join as a horse, then that may be allowed. Playing dogs or cats isn't likely, unless we begin showing dogs. In order to breed and compete, horses must be registered and accepted on site, then posted and accepted into a breed association. They must also have been to a vet and farrier and given the all clear. Horses must be realistic when joined and be somewhat realistically colored and of the height of their breed. There can be no extinct breeds or mythical species.
Horses must be 3 years-old in order to breed and be ridden in shows. They can only breed in Spring and Summer. Mares that have had foals cannot breed for another year (4 months) and cannot show for 2 months (2 weeks). A horse cannot be ridden until it is 2 years-old; this goes for race horses, too. Ground training may be done at any age.
Horses are ranked by their points. Foundation/joined horses are automatically given 750 points. Members may have their characters buy points for their horses in the Store. You have one free horse that you can join. Horses that you make after that vary in cost by age at the Store.
